Nothing ever goes easy for the Brad. He had a routine dental check-up today and the dentist ended up finding an impacted baby tooth and had to pull it! Ouch! Poor dang kid! Tonight he seems to be past the trauma and excited for the financial windfall of the tooth fairy visit.

What a mouth!
Bradley: I hope me and Dad can go play a game of golf soon.
Jordan: Well, that's not going to happen.
Why is it that the youngest is always the mouthiest?

Back to school we go!
Here's Makenzie and her friend Taylor heading off for their first day of 8th grade. They think it's awesome not being the new kids on the block (freshman) anymore. Umm, did these two call each other to coordinate outfits? I'm scared.

Imagine this...
Sunday evening, I'm out planting flowers by the front porch. Bradley steps out onto the front porch in a long tshirt that he uses for PJ's. I thought to myself...Ok, as long as he stays on the porch. I get engrossed in my gardening and when I look up again, I notice he is no longer on the porch and assume that he has gone back inside. At about the same time I have this thought, I hear his voice coming from the sidewalk at the corner of our house. I shoot straight up and whip around just in time to see him addressing two young mother's pushing their babies in strollers. Before I can act, he says to them "Do you know why I'm not wearing any pants?" as he playfully twists his torso from side to side. I spit a quick and growling "BRADLEY, House, Now!"
I'm sure the encounter made their ovaries shrivel up.

Very Cute ♥
Our little Jordie made this poster for us and taped it to our bedroom door. For those who do not read 1st grader, I'll translate. "I like you very much mom and dad. I like you being my mom and dad because you make us grate food and helthey food and sometimes you give us candy after dinner". Cute little peanut!!Posted by Heather at 9:18 PM 0 comments

Bounce!

This looks like a scene out of "The Matrix"
This trampoline is older than dirt, but oh man, does it ever bounce! I actually bought the kids a new trampoline a couple of years ago, but they wouldn't jump on it because it wasn't as fun, so we got rid of it and put the old one back up.Posted by Heather at 8:38 PM 0 comments

Follow up to riding bikes---
Bradley was so pleased with finally being able to get out and ride his bike yesterday that he decided he would go for a ride around the block today. He had only been outside for a minute or so when he came back in the house, grumbling somewhat under his breath. When I asked him what was wrong he said that he really wanted to go ride his bike but everytime he sat on the bike seat, his butt really hurt! Sometimes fun comes with a pricetag, dear son.

Jordan without training wheels!
Here is Jordan showing off for us. She's getting the hang of riding her bike without the training wheels. Still a little wobbly but getting better and better. She is very pleased! (It's Makenzie you hear grumbling about how bad her legs hurt from riding bikes)

Jordan got her self a nice head cold so we're home sick today, chugging the cough medicine. Never too sick for Nintendo Wii though!

Makenzie's concert
Makenzie had a band concert last night. You can just barely see the top of her head in the middle there. She's very dedicated and becoming quite the flutist. We had been leasing her flute but when she tried out for next year's jazz band and made it, I decided this wasn't just a passing fancy. So I went to the music store and inquired about purchasing the flute. After being revived by paramedics, I handed over all my worldly possessions, and we now own her flute.
