Anticipation!

It's Christmas Eve and the kids are so excited they've been bouncing off the walls. After making a few last minute trips to the store for tomorrow's munchies, we picked up a Chick-fil-A nugget tray for our evening. We watched Ghostbusters and ate chicken nuggets. Does it get any better? Turns out that it does. At 8pm, we let the kids each open one present, as is tradition in the Craw clan. After which, Bradley made a hasty retreat to the basement to play his new game - Spongebob Globs of Doom for Wii. Jordan hi-tailed it to her room to draw pictures on her new Doodle-Pro color, and Makenzie snuck off to her bedroom to watch her new DVD - Horton Hears a Who. Hmm, I think I hear a chicken nugget calling my name.....

Bedroom Makeover

We recently overhauled the master bedroom.
New carpet, new paint, new colors.

The new carpet is a thick cable brown with rust and sage flecks. I love it.

Quite the contrast between the before and after color. The tan (or Harvest Brown if you will) is much more relaxing.

Happy Halloween

Brad and Jordan heading out for some trick-or-treating. First house we go to, the guy answering the door tells Brad that he likes his costume. Brad says...Thanks, it was free from the hospital where my Dad works. Oh man! BORROWED Bradley, not free! Could we please just keep the details of your costume to ourselves? umkay pumpkin?

Rock on Grayson, Rock on

This is my great nephew Grayson doing his best Gene Simmons impersonation at The Bluebird Restaurant up in Logan. We spent last weekend up in Richmond. Kim and Grayson came up from Minersville. It was a rip snortin' good time.

Like Mother, Like Daughter

Here's Allie's truck after a collission just a block from her house. She came out mostly unscathed. I think my brother Jeff is going to have to put those two in an armored car!

And one more....

Here comes #3 for my niece Brooke (Kim's daughter). Don't these people ever go outside? That will bring the great grandkid count for my parents up to 7! The count for people I know who are pregnant right now - 5!

Crazy Hair Day

Today was crazy hair day at Bennion Elementary (part of Red Ribbon Week). Jordan came out looking like a Dr. Seuss character.

Close call - Too close!

This is what's left of my sister-in-law Pam's car after she hit a guardrail on her way to work in Tremonton this morning. Very fortunate, in that she was able to walk away from the accident. We're very relieved that she's allright.

Chalk up another one

My niece Jamie has got bun #3 in the oven. Congrats to her and Aaron. This brings the total up to 6 great-grandkids for my parents. Bradley said "Jamie's pregnant again? Wow, that makes three in a row!" There's no denying logic that strong.

Lagoon, sans crowd!

We had the best day at Lagoon yesterday! The temperature was high 70's and the crowds were so light that we were able to walk on the rides. The kids got to go on everything they wanted to except for Wicked. It broke down and never re-opened.

Makenzie went on The Rocket for the first time. Her friend Taylor made her. She liked The Rocket, but has declared The Spider as her favorite ride for 2008. In turn, Makenzie dragged Taylor on a Tidal Wave/Wild Mouse/Colossus trifecta and got him turning green. This was our best Lagoon trip of 2008, so far. Can't wait for Frightmares!

Big Cottonwood Canyon

We met Darren's family up at Storm Mountain picnic area for our some-what monthly get-together. It was the perfect day for it. Great site! We celebrated two college graduations and numerous birthdays. Good food as always and a fun time had by all.

What a mouth!

Tonight at Dinner.....

Bradley: I hope me and Dad can go play a game of golf soon.
Jordan: Well, that's not going to happen.

Why is it that the youngest is always the mouthiest?

Happy Birthday Darren!

Darren turned the big 40 today.

After opening presents with the kids, we celebrated by going to dinner with a group of friends at La Puente. The Mariachi band serenaded Darren with a rendition of Happy Birthday and then Stairway to Heaven by request. We laughed our butts off and had a great time.
Happy Birthday Hubby!

Back to school we go!

Here's Makenzie and her friend Taylor heading off for their first day of 8th grade. They think it's awesome not being the new kids on the block (freshman) anymore. Umm, did these two call each other to coordinate outfits? I'm scared.

Jordan starts 2nd grade

Brad and Jordan indulging mom with one last picture.
In case you're wondering about Brad's shirt, yes, it's a ribcage but what makes it so Brad-esque is that it has game controls and other assorted gaming equipment encased and entangled throughout.

Remembering Randee Sue

Randee Sue would be 21 years old today. She was so very sweet and we deeply miss her.
