Not letting up

Still feeling very crappy so the doc sent me off to the hospital for a chest xray. Probably just being precaucious. I just love those gowns. Anywho, they didn't see any significant infection, thank you very much. Although, it does give one pause to think what a significant infection would feel like......

15 Years ♥

Today is our 15 year anniversary. Darren sent me these beautiful flowers at work. I ♥ them and him! We celebrated by going to one of our favorite restaurants for dinner - Tepanyaki. It was excellent!

Dang!

Now Brad and I have the crud. Jordan still hasn't gotten rid of hers completely either. This is the second day I've had Brad out of school. I've got him dosed with Delsym and he's still coughing uncontrollably. We're heading to the doctors to see if we can get him to prescribe some of the good cough medicine with codeine.

Sicko♥

Jordan got her self a nice head cold so we're home sick today, chugging the cough medicine. Never too sick for Nintendo Wii though!

I ♥ case lot sales

Hit Macey's case lot sale last night. Picked up Peaches, Mandarin oranges, cream of chicken soup, green beans, applesauce, stewed tomatoes, & kidney beans. The latter two are for making taco soup. Shhh, taco soup (family joke). So, while Jordie lay ailing on the couch, I put it all away. The new shelves are stocked! Eat your heart out mutha hubbard.

Makenzie's concert

Makenzie had a band concert last night. You can just barely see the top of her head in the middle there. She's very dedicated and becoming quite the flutist. We had been leasing her flute but when she tried out for next year's jazz band and made it, I decided this wasn't just a passing fancy. So I went to the music store and inquired about purchasing the flute. After being revived by paramedics, I handed over all my worldly possessions, and we now own her flute.

Ewwwwww!

Not to be outdone by Jordan, her Uncle Jeff decided that he would take off his whole knuckle and rack up an impressive nineteen stitches! My favorite part of the story is when Jeff went to the safety coordinator to ask him for a ride to ER and the guy said he couldn't because he had a safety meeting to go to. Brilliant!
