Pineview Reservoir
We spent the day at Pineview Reservoir with my good friend Wendy, her daughter Kennedi, and friend Noel. It was excellent. The kids had the best time. There was even mutterings of liking the beach at Pineview more than Bear Lake. Blasphemy? I'll let you decide.

Happy Independence Day!
No Independence Day would be complete without a BBQ in the sweltering heat. Here are some pics of the grand Peacock event.

Darren made a point of asking Russ "Where are TC and Rick?" Thus mocking Russ's summer time apparel, or at the minimum, his choice in head-wear.

There were Burgers, Hot Dogs, Teriyaki chicken, macaroni salad, fresh strawberries with fruit dip (that one was my idea), frog-eye salad, chips galore, cookies & cupcakes a plenty, and of course, the ever present Peacock chips and salsa. Good eatin'!

After the food-fest, we headed down to get our traditional spot for the Sandy City fireworks (west frontage road across from Sandy City Hall). Darren's parents, his brother Donald, family friend Joyce, and his sister Kaylene's brood joined us as well. The fireworks were fantastic, as usual. It was a very long and very fun day!

The Craw family - here we grow again!
This just in! My neice Allie has announced she is having a baby, her first. Congratulations to her and her husband Troy. This is great news because Great Aunt Heather is baby hungry!
I can't wait to see Grandpa Jeff and Grandma Pam in action.
