Double coverage is beautiful

We had Makenzie's appointment for the orthodontist today. She'll have to be in braces for a couple of years to fix her teeth, especially the one coming in above her teeth through the gum, yikes. I was scared to hear what the financial damage would be, having heard countless horror stories from people in the past. The total cost of the orthodontics is $3890.00. Here comes the beautiful part. Since we have double dental coverage, each insurance will pay half, $1945.00 each, leaving us with $0.00 to pay! The next great part of this tale is that each insurance only covers up to $2000.00 maximum for Orthodontics per member. Talk about sliding in under the wire!
